Domain Availability Checker

Check whether a domain is registered, straight from the registry's RDAP service in your browser. One name across .com, .net, .org, .io, .co.uk and .cz.

Every query goes from your browser straight to the registry's RDAP service. Nothing is sent to this website and nothing is stored. A name reported as available can still be held back by the registry as reserved or premium.

.de domains: check at DENIC whois

How the domain availability check works

Type a domain and this page asks the registry that operates its top-level domain whether the name is registered. The answer comes straight from RDAP, the registry's public registration data service - no reseller in between, no account, no queue. If you type only a name, it checks that name across .com, .net, .org, .io, .co.uk and .cz at once, so you can see which endings are still free before you register. For registered names it also shows the registrar, the creation and expiry dates and the name server count the registry publishes. It does not check .de: DENIC does not allow browser requests to its RDAP service, so the page links to DENIC whois instead. And available is not a promise - registries can hold a free-looking name as reserved or premium.
